Since the Covid 19 pandemic began, can any of us recognize daily life anymore?
Think about how you lived life and went about your day before the world shut down. How different is it from your daily life now?
When you are locked in your house for days, weeks, months, years on end (depending on where you are), it’s not surprising we see the insanity around us. I see it as insanity at least. Before the pandemic, things were bad in my observation – since the lockdown, things have gotten much worse.
For me, the scary thing is that as bad as things got, they were nowhere near the abysmal future that could be for us…..possibly soon.
There’s no way to know the day or time, at least that I am aware of, but the way I see it, the stock market, the real estate market, and many other areas are in bubbles. If we thought the collapse in 2008/09 was bad, what is coming I think will make the Great Depression of 1929 look like the good ol’ days.
I watch gold, silver, crypto. I have seen the NFT’s, but that is all. I don’t know much about them. I don’t trust the fiat currency of the US Dollar. I encourage you to look into anything that isn’t the US Dollar as a store of value for any funds you are able to shift out of the US Dollar and into something else. Be sure to do your research and make the best decision for you and your finances and situation.
I believe at best we are in the zombie apocalypse that has become the topic of hollywood television shows and movies – it’s just that most don’t know it.
When the shelves became bare at the grocery stores in the early days of the pandemic, the survival preppers that were once considered “conspiracy theorists” seemed genius. Amazing how that happens, huh? You’re only crazy until you’re right.
Looking back on those days, what would you give to have gone back to say 2015 and buy crypto, food, supplies, gold, silver, etc. knowing that Covid would happen.
As they say in Game of Thrones – “winter is coming”. Are you prepared for that? If the internet didn’t work, if your AC/heat no longer functioned, if the power grid went out, if the stores had longer supply chain delays and nothing on the shelves……if, if, if, if, if…….you can fill in the blanks. If life went back to the days of Little House on the Prairie, could you survive? For how long? What skills, capabilities, etc. do you have that can keep you and your loved ones safe?
It doesn’t matter what you do, it just matters that you get started. Be smart. Maybe you won’t need it, maybe you will. Would you rather be calm and ready for whatever happens? Or would you rather be unprepared and dealing with the results of not making decisions today? Make your plans, but don’t do it out of fear. Fear in your mind will not help you in survival situations – best to tackle the fear monster in your mind now when it isn’t a life or death situation.
There’s an old saying, a proverb I think, credit to whomever it comes from (I forget who, as I have heard it so many times: “The best time to plant a tree is 25 years ago, the second best time is today”.
